The Health Camp by NELUMBO has shown that much can be acheived even with relatively few prerequisites. This offer is highly appreciated in rural areas, where there is often a lack of adequate medical care. Over 1000 examinations and therapies were carried out during this Health Camp, which is a great success and demonstrates the importance of such events. It is also noteworthy that high hygienic standards were maintained in Nepal, which is not always a given and significantly contributes to ensuring that people's health is not further impaired. Overall, the Health Camp by NELUMBO was a complete success and has demonstrated that it is possible to make a significant contribution to medical care even with limited resources.

I feel so fortunate to have been able to volunteer with the health camp in Nepal by NELUMBO. Having the opportunity to learn medicine from local Doctors was incredible & their hands on skills & extensive clinical knowledge movtivated me to continue practicing, gaining the skills that will benefit communites in rural global settings. Having a masters degree in Public Health I was beyond impressed with the work that NELUMBO does to put on such an incredible & well functioning community health project. The volunteers & staff of the NGO worked so hard to serve the community & better the health of those they serve. Thank you for letting me be a part of such a meaningful experience! I look forward to returning in the future to Nepal!
