Introduction
On August 5, 2026, an Ear and Oral Health Awareness Program was conducted at Pashchimanchal Secondary School, located at Pokhara-04. This program aimed to raise awareness of common ear problems, the impact of hearing loss and preventive measures for protecting and maintaining good ear health and preventing and protecting good oral health. Such programs are taken as the most cost-effective investments, as they can boost both health and education at the grassroots level. Additionally, these students act as a bridge between knowledge and perception in their families and society by sharing their insights.
Objectives
The main objectives of the program were to:

Educate students about common ear and oral health problems and their prevention.

Encourage students to maintain good ear and oral health practices.

Promote the importance of regular hearing and oral check-ups for early diagnosis and intervention.

- Good and Bad for Teeth
- Various oral health problems
- Preventive measures and ways of maintaining good oral health
- Brushing technique demonstration
Student Engagement
The students showed keen interest throughout both sessions. Following the presentations, an interactive question-and-answer session was conducted, where most students actively participated and clarified their doubts.
