Free Ear Camp at Machhapuchchre RM, Dhampus-7 from November 18th – 19th, 2024
NELUMBO, NEPAL conducted “Free Dental, Ear Camp and Awareness Program at Machhapuchchre Rural Municipality, Dhampus-7 from November 18, 2024 to November 22, 2024 (Mangsir 3, 2081 to Mangsir 7, 2081 where Ear camp was conducted for 2 days and the dental camp for 5 days. The camp was conducted in coordination with Machhapuchchre Rural Municipality, Dhampus-7. Along with free check-ups and dental treatments, prescribed medicines were provided to the registered individuals as needed.
The primary goal of organizing this camp was to provide comprehensive oral and dental care as well as ear care and treatment to all the people of that area.
A total of 234 were registered for a check-up in the program. After a thorough checkup, patients were treated as per the diagnosis. Following the screening and treatment, prescribed medicines were distributed as needed.
The major highlights of the camp were:
- Ear Check-up
- Syringing of the ear
- Micro-suctioning of the ear
- PTA (Pure Tone Audiometry Test)
- Medicine distribution as per prescription
