NELUMBO, NEPAL conducted three days of “Ear Health Camp and Awareness Program” at Rivan Health Post, Machhapuchhre Rural Municipality-05 on Jestha 03-05, 2081 (May 16-18, 2024). This camp was conducted in coordination with Machhapuchhre Rural Municipality Office and Machhapuchhre Rural Municipality-05, ward office. Along with the free check-ups and treatments, prescribed medicines were also provided to the registered individuals as required.

Throughout the three days, 332 individuals registered for ear check-ups and a total of 135 procedures were performed which included ear syringing, micro-suctioning, and Pure Tone Average (PTA) assessments. 185 individuals were able to take the medicine as per the prescription after treatment.

The major highlights of the camp were:

  • General Ear Checkups
  • Ear Syringing
  • Micro Suctioning of ear
  • Audio test
  • Medicine distribution as per prescription
  • Awareness Program
