General Health Camp at Mauja, Pokhara-20
The main objective of this camp was to provide general health care services to the local community people of Pokhara-20, Mauja without any cost from qualified health professionals. The services available in this camp were: general medicine, gynaecology, orthopaedics, skin, urology, ENT (ear, nose and throat), USG (Ultrasonography), ECG (Electrocardiogram), pharmacy and laboratory (urine and blood). This camp was organized with the main theme of “Prevention, identification and treatment of chronic diseases”. Along with the treatment and medication service, it was also a means for screening the most prevalent health problems of the local people of that place.

The camp ended on December 12, 2021, with a total of 466 registrations for check-ups. A total of 970 services were provided in this camp. At the end of the 2nd day (last day) appreciation certificates were distributed by the ward office of Pokhara Metropolitan City-20 to all the medical professionals and volunteers who actively participated in the two-day camp. The camp was a success as it got positive responses and feedback from the local community people as well as from the local representative of the aforementioned ward who attended it.
