Introduction
On August 12, 2025, an Ear and Oral Health Awareness Program was conducted at Shree Bindabasini Secondary School, Pokhara-2. The program aimed to raise awareness about common ear and oral health problems, the impact of hearing loss, the effects of poor oral health on daily life, and preventive measures for maintaining good ear and oral health.
Such programs are considered highly cost-effective, as they enhance both health and education at the grassroots level. Furthermore, students act as a bridge between knowledge and perception in their families and society by sharing what they learn.
Objectives
The main objectives of the program were to:
