Free Ear Camp at Pokhara MC-05, Dharapani on Shrawan 17, 2082 | August 02, 2025
NELUMBO, NEPAL, in collaboration with Dharapani Tole Bikash Sanstha ‘Kha’ and other local committees within the ward, organized a one-day “Free Ear Camp” at Pokhara-05, Dharapani, specifically targeting the local community people. This camp was conducted to address the often neglected ear health issues. Many local community people suffer from untreated conditions like ear infections, hearing loss, and wax buildup due to poor hygiene, limited healthcare access, and lack of awareness. One of the most common ear problems is hearing loss, which affects over 1.5 billion people globally and results from various causes, including congenital factors, infections, noise exposure, age-related issues, and the use of certain medicines. Hence, this camp was organized to ensure early diagnosis, timely treatment, and promote health equity.
